you like.

The most beneficial aspect of working with Andrea/MNC was that I had never paid this side of the game the respect it thoroughly deserved. I was told in my younger years that hitting balls on the range would make the difference. Simply highlighting the need to pay it attention was the key ingredient to strengthening my on course performance.

I had worked with other Psychs before without results; Andrea enabled me to produce my two best year’s worth of results. Her methods were not strictly text book, Andrea provided a number of skills that were personally tailored to suit me and the results showed.

Working on mental skills with Andrea assisted me by giving me the necessary tools and skills to apply to the mind aspect that is involved in classical singing. I suddenly realized I had a methodology that I could use when things were not going according to plan, which helps put things into perspective rather then have a negative lull that one can gravitate to. I feel that working on my mental skills with Andrea enabled me to learn more about myself, which in turn helped me grow as an athlete.

Before working with Andrea, I found it very hard to verbally express and explain myself. This meant that most of my desires, fears and feelings were left to bottle- up inside me, and resulted in 'issues' rather than just a problem resolved by a chat with friend, family
or coach.

I found that the most beneficial aspect of working with Andrea was that she gave me back self- belief. By helping me understand that things are not always perfect. This for an athlete sometimes comes as a bit of a shock. As I believe now that athletes live in an unreal world, this is what in many ways makes us good, and allows us to rise above all. In my case, that’s what I did, I rose 'above all'. By denying that I had any problems. I still have a long way to go, before I become the athlete I want to be. But I feel by partaking in work with Andrea, I'm at least sure I'm on the right track in becoming the athlete I want to be.
